The event will take place on 6 and 7 October at El Palauet, a modernist building ideal for premium events, located in one of the most dynamic shopping streets in Europe, Passeig de Gràcia.
The antecedent of a first successful edition
In the frame of the Barcelona Watch Experience celebrated last April, the first market of high watchmaking took place in the city with 30 exhibitors from all over Europe.
One of the characteristics of this contest has been the celebration of multiple acts in different spaces very close to each other. The main element of attraction has been the high-profile congress held at the Casa Fuster Hotel, as well as other technical and recreational events organized in Joyería Suárez or Vinoteca Torres.
The media repercussion of the event, with more than 250 media impacts and an advertising valuation of almost € 700,000, contributed to a great success with more than 2000 visitors, both professionals and amateurs. View Media Summary
The good performance of this first edition of the Barcelona Watch Market was undoubtedly due to the importance of the partners and collaborators of the event. It has been supported by generic and specialized media, but also with the institutional and tourist support of the city, as well as commercial establishments, sponsors, and not forgetting the great work of the different providers, spaces and accommodations involved. An innovative model to reach the public
Beyond the conventional model of watch markets that are celebrated in Europe and the United States, directed to a mainly professional public, the Barcelona Watch Market makes a bet to promote the culture of the purchase and sale among the general public.
The format of the event held in a modernist palace, the type of exhibition stands and the services offered, create a commercial and exchange environment very attractive for both exhibitors and visitors.
The concept of leisure and business developed by the organization allows professionals from all over the world to find a Barcelona tourist attraction and a networking environment between the sector.
The Association of Merchants of Paseo de Gracia, as well as Tourism of Barcelona have supported this type of actions, which for the organization are one of the main advertising messages of attracting international audiences.
With this second edition of the market, the organizing company intends to set up an agenda of several events during the year in Barcelona.
After the first edition of the Barcelona Watch Experience, 2017 will be completed with this Watch Market that focuses on the fair and events related exclusively to the sale.
An eminently commercial event version that aims to grow rapidly in the number of exhibitors and above all in the international influence of the event.
The Barcelona Watch Market will be held again next spring 2018 to complete an agenda of two annual editions, expandable to three in the next few years.
Also in April 2018 will take place a new edition of the Barcelona Watch Experience, raised eminently as an event of presentation of news and a congress of high watchmaking.
